Flexera, a company specialising in technology spend and risk management for hybrid IT, has announced its Technology Intelligence Platform<\/a> powered by Technopedia\u00ae<\/a>, its next-generation data and analytics platform for Flexera One. The Technology Intelligence Platform is a \u2018system of insight\u2019 built to solve the new challenges facing IT leaders who seek to bridge the gap between ITAM and FinOps \u2013 including cloud licence management and GreenOps \u2013 and will be Flexera\u2019s foundation for additional innovation in AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IT spending is currently estimated to reach $5.26 trillion in 20241<\/sup>, bolstered by an increase in AI technologies. However, managing technology investments is more complicated and disjointed, increasing organisations\u2019 concerns with wasted spending and potential security risks. A recent report suggests that less than 50% of organisations have complete visibility of their IT environments2<\/sup>. This growing visibility gap is driven by disparate buying centres, changing vendor pricing and licensing models, inconsistent and incomplete data sets, and increased purchases from cloud marketplaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unifying data across hybrid IT environments The new Technology Intelligence Platform is built on a unified, extensible data model for technology assets, an analytics engine and a data lakehouse. Flexera\u2019s Technology Intelligence Platform is powered by Technopedia, an expansive technology catalog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers with access to the Technology Intelligence Platform will be able to add their own data, create custom reports, and access their data via API. Flexera\u2019s Technology Intelligence Platform currently supports Flexera One IT Visibility<\/a>, with innovations that cultivate more ITAM, FinOps and SaaS management data, so addressing advanced use cases like cloud licence management and GreenOps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
